This is Jeanne statement since the recording of this presentation from over 

4 years ago, I am gradually continuing to research what can be learned about Penelope Stout. I've traveled to Netherlands and England to explore possible locations and sources associated with Penelope. I've visited the New Jersey Historical Society and read portions of Samuel Smith's handwritten draft of his 1765 history which first mentions the Penelope story. I've also spent some time with the Lenape to learn more about information items. So, I continue work on my Penelope Project. There will be more to come.
